The Financial Services Department provides internal support services to all City Departments and Offices. Finance is responsible for financial forecasting, issuing municipal bonds, general accounting, grants monitoring, preparation of financial reports, overseeing Hollywood's annual financial audit, managing and investing public funds, and revenue and expenditure analysis.

Treasury Division

Treasury handles many of the department’s direct services to the public, including customer payment processing, emergency alarm registration, lien searches and local business tax receipts. Treasury also oversees debt administration, revenue auditing, and receivables. The Treasury Division is under the direction of the City Treasurer who can be reached at

General Accounting Division

General Accounting supervises the City’s annual external audit and issues the City’s audited Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR).

For 41 consecutive years, Finance has received the Government Finance Officers Association’s Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.

The General Accounting Division also handles vendor accounts payable matters.
